Ramuc Hi Build Epoxy Pool Paint is a high-performance, two-component epoxy coating designed to deliver long-lasting protection for concrete pool surfaces. This ultra-durable coating resists stains, chemicals, and abrasion, providing a smooth satin finish that enhances both appearance and function. With a self-priming formula and a 1:1 mix ratio, it's easy to use and offers excellent coverage and surface smoothing.

Surface Preparation & Application (Rewritten for Clarity & Professional Use)

1. Surface Inspection
   Ensure the pool surface (concrete, plaster, or fiberglass) is clean, structurally sound, and free of cracks, chips, loose material, or scaling. Repair any damage with appropriate hydraulic cement or patching compound.
2. Cleaning
   Use Ramuc Clean and Prep Solution to remove oils, scale, and dirt. This process opens the surface pores to ensure strong paint adhesion.
3. Etching (if needed)
   For previously coated epoxy or fiberglass surfaces, thoroughly sand using 60–80 grit sandpaper to create a profile for bonding.
4. Condensation Check
   Perform a plastic sheet condensation test to ensure the surface is dry. Tape clear plastic to several spots for 4 hours. If no condensation forms, the surface is ready.
5. Mixing Instructions
   • Mix Part A and Part B separately for 5 minutes each using a mechanical drill mixer.
   • Combine equal parts by volume (1:1 ratio) of Part A and Part B.
   • Mix thoroughly for 20 minutes using a drill mixer. (Hand-mixing is not recommended.)
6. Application Conditions
   • Only apply when surface and air temperatures are between 50°F and 90°F (10°C–32°C) with humidity below 70%.
   • Use a high-quality ⅜" nap roller or lambskin roller for application.
7. Drying & Recoating
   • Wait 16–72 hours between coats depending on weather conditions.
   • Sand surface lightly before recoating if more than 72 hours have passed.
8. Curing Time
   • Allow at least 5–7 days for full curing before filling the pool with water.

⚠️ Not Recommended For

• Uncured concrete (must be cured for at least 28 days)
• Unpainted or damp fiberglass surfaces
• Pools with moisture issues or high water table
• Surfaces prone to blistering or full-pool waterline hydrostatic pressure
