Description
OASE BioPress UVC pressure filters combine mechanical filter foams, biological filtration and UV clarification. Compare the 1000, 1600 and 2400 models for a pump-fed pond system.
Plan the pump and return line
Match the pump to the selected filter's allowed flow and pressure. The pump moves water through the filter and return line; the filter adds resistance to that flow. Pond capacity depends on fish load and conditions, so check the appropriate capacity for your pond.
The cleaning handle helps service the filter foams. Leave access to the lid, connections and UV components, and follow the model manual for installation height and winter storage. UV clarification supports green-water control alongside regular filter maintenance.
